Error creating backup file #2038
Hi, I first installed version 2.0.1 but all I got were crippling errors, for no apparent reason.
So, I installed version 1.7 as recommended and now also receive constant errors in this form
Error creating backup file: D:\My Documents\My Digital Editions\backup_manifest.xml
Error detail: Error #2038
This is on windows 7 x64.
What am I doing wrong? Surely everyone must be getting these errors?

How to publish and create documentos to adobe digital editions?
Hello guys,
I'm very interested to create "personal" and "exclusive" content for some of my readers. As example, I want to sell them a short book of tips explaining more about a certain subject.
For that reason I'm very interested to create a limited document, with a expiration date or a limited usage. To protect my copyrights.
I know and I already used the Adobe Digital Editions as a reader, but now I would like to use that as a Publisher.
Could you help me to understand better the rules of publishing and more important HOW can I create a document/file that can be used and published through Digital Editions?
Should I have any special program? Or the InDesign is enough?
I hope that I made myself understandable. I tried to find any explanation or tutorial but when people talk about A.D.E they talk only as a READER and no as a PUBLISHER.

But i keep getting this strange error (see screenshot) about Readmill.
I have absolutely no idea why this is happening.

How to keep My Digital Editions folder on OneDrive
I keep all my user files on Microsoft OneDrive so that I can access them from my desktop and laptop computers. I would like to do the same for the 'My Digital Editions' folder which currently resides in My Documents on the C:drive. I can see no way to direct the Digital Editions program to the corresponding location on OneDrive. Is there a way of doing this?
Both computers are running Windows 8.1. The same question would arise with GoogleDrive or DropBox of course.

I was able to create my Adobe Digital Edition user id using my University of Waterloo email. I was able to login to ADE successfully on my laptop using these credentials. But when I tried to authorise the Bluefire Reader on my Proscan tablet that runs And

But when I tried to authorise the Bluefire Reader on my Proscan tablet that runs Android 4.1.1 I get an error message stating that "Authorization Failed. Your Adobe Account has not been authorized on this device. Please check your user name and password and try again". I tried several times to no avail. This is the first time I am trying to get my tablet authorized on my ADE account. I never attempted this with any other mobile device before. Can you help?

Recently I changed from UPC to KPN and with that, my old email adress "wel.seuren@chello.nl" has been removed. Since I forgot the password associated with this account, I can no longer login to access my old Ebooks.
I want to either link my old account (wel.seuren@chello.nl) to the new one (wel.seuren@kpnmail.nl) OR I want to change the old email adress to "wel.seuren@kpnmail.nl".
