ADE will not connect to activation servers with either the computer or my Sony ereader. Tells me to check internet connections. They are fine. Any ideas?

How can I obtain authorization for use of a second Sony eReader?
I have today purchased a second Sony eReader for home use. However, using the Sony program Reader for PC it refuses to provide authorization for my existing Adobe ID and Password that I have been using with the first Sony eReader.

SVG Image shows up tiny only in Adobe Digital Editions...what am I doing wrong?
I've hand-coded it myself and it works across everything except ADE. Instead of showing up fullscreen, it shows up extremely tiny at the top of the page. Would anyone know how to fix this? Is it something wrong in the code? Here is the code that I have for every image (in their xhtml):

The ADE Version 4 is veryyyy slow when opening mye ebook- is there a fix or later version
I have just downloaded ADE to my PC running on Windows 8.0. When I try to read the book, the page turning process is very slow and takes a while to view the page - is there a fix?

How can I access notes and higlights in a book that is expired?
Hi there,
I recently borrowed a book in which I highlighted and did notes/comments quite extensively. Now the book has expired, and I borrowed it again from an online library to which I have access through my university. But instead of unlocking the book with all the notes and highlights I now have a new version of the same book in my library. Is there a way to unlock the version of the book which has all of my notes and comments in it? I really hope someone can help!

uable to open: errors were encountered: This file could not be opened.
Hello-
I purchased a Digital Education in 2005. I saved it on either a Mac or PC. I own the book. Now I am trying to open it and I get errors. I cannot even open the notes (comments). I am currently running Windows 7 Ultimate with service pack 1. I apologize for asking the community, this is really a question that should be supported by seller (which I assume is Adobe).
I do have an "ETD" file in the folder with the eBook. The EDT file verifies that I purchased the book and contains my order ID.

Is there a way to search my entire library for specific content?
I have 44 items in my library, each one a year of Mother Earth News. Each item has an index for that volume of the collection, but if I wanted to search for something specific and don't know what year it's in, I have to search all 44 indices. Is there a way to search my entire library for content (for example, "compost")?

Problems with My Nook Glowlight and Adobe Digital Editions 4.0
Can any one explain to me why, Ever since I updated ADE 3.0 to 4.0 my nook glowlight wont let me borrow books form the library. When I try to transfer books I get an "User not activated" error every time. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall. My device said that it's authorized. I just don't understand.

i just trying to activate Bluereader or Aldiko.. etc.. for read an eBook/PDF DRM Protected that i have regulary bought a couple of month ago. I have buy also 2 a new smartphone and tablet.. now the problem is that when i try to activate my device, return me error.. TOO MANY ACTIVATIONS (in Italian) can't authorize more.

I don't find where in my Adobe Account i can reset the permits.
I can't access to old device for deactivate it then.. i can't read the book i bought!
What can i do?

I bought a medical e-book back in 1012 and need to download it again. However, my login e-mail is not active anymore and Adobe wants to reset the password (I know the old one) and sends instructions to my defunct e-mail. How do I get Adobe to change my login e-mail, so I can gain access to my account again or at least the instructions, so I can reset the password and e-mail adress?

ACSM files cause Adobe Digital Editions to crash
So, I've been reading these forums trying to find an answer, but I haven't read about someone with the same problem. (If you know of a discussion where a solution was already posted, please link me if possible.) So, I decided to post this issue and see if anyone has some ideas about what to do.
I'm running OS 10.6.8 and the most recent Adobe Digital Editions. ADE can open/download some acsm files perfectly fine. However, for many, the application unexpectedly quits as soon as I try to open the acsm file. I know it's not the file, since I can send the file to someone else who uses the same computer and ADE version, and he can open the acsm just fine. I also know it's probably not ADE itself or my connection/firewall/etc., since I can open/download other acsm files perfectly fine. However, there seems to be a large number of acsm files that simply won't work for me and cause ADE to quit unexpectedly. Like I said, these same files work for someone else running the same version of ADE. Where should I look for the problem? These are not public library books. I do research at a graduate school, and these are ebooks that my school has paid for (the tech people there have been unable to help me). The person I sent the acsm files to test is not part of the institution, and yet he can still open the acsm files that I downloaded but can't open. So, I don't think it has to do with authorization either.
Does anyone have some trobleshooting suggestions beyond what I've just enumerated? Yes, I have uninstalled it and redownloaded it several times, along with essentially every other suggestion I've read on the forums, and still, many acsm files simply cause ADE to unexpectedly quit. If someone really wants, I can paste the entire error message that's given when it unexpectedly quits.

Download ebook every time
Hi all,
I've a problem with starting ADE. Every time I start the application it start to download my ebook again. It's an 116MB PDF an it takes a while. My libray now contains several copies of this book.
I don't think that this is correct behavior.
What can I do to avoid the download every time?

Hey everybody,
i just bought three eBooks vor my KOBOeReader.
I got the download-Links and the files and opened them in my Adobe Digital Library.
Now im trying copy them on my eBook-Reader.
But all i get is the Error: CE_COPY-NOT-ALLOWED...
What is going on here? Can somebody please help?

File Format Error
I have downloaded, installed and authorised ADE V 4.0.2.103411, and authorised my e-reader. I have downloaded an e-book, opened it in ADE, and I can read it there. I try to move it to my e-reader, it transfers ok, but when I try to open it on the e-reader I get "File Format Error". Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong please?

Where is Photoshop Elements?
I have "completed" my download of a 30 day Photoshop Elements, according to the Download Assistant screen, but cannot find the application. Tried a couple of times but no success. Driving me to distraction! Help.
