Activation Server Error
This is the message I am receiving. I recently had a new hard drive put in my PC. I have tried allowing Adobe digital editions through the firewall, my date and time and time zone are correct. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I can't erase my authorization with ctrl+shift+d. How can I authorize this computer?

clone problem
The clone tool has acted different over the last week, after I alt/click and move the cursor, the whole picture moves with it, I have reset the tools, no luck, it's still the same, it's not the space bar or shift causing it. Help!!!

I down loaded ADE 4 as an update to my windows netbook since then it has not worked. I have reinstalled and reactivated still when I TRY TO DOWNLOAD A BOOK ADE will not work. How do I get help. This is my 3rd day trying

I am unable to turn pages in Adobe Digital Editions 4.0. How can I fix this?
Turning pages using the arrow keys or mouse wheel does nothing. The displayed page will update if I maximize or change the screen size, but this is a totally ridiculous solution. Please help.

ADE installs all right on laptop XP SP3 but doesn't launch.
After downloading the ADE installer 4.0 on my laptop running on XP SP3 (featuring plenty of power), I installed the utility without a hitch. However, when launching the application... zilch. Some activity, then nothing. Please note that I installed the same on my desktop PC running on Windows 7 §'-bit, and everything works fine. So, what do I have got to do to make ADE work on my machine?

Connection Error: Digital editions could no connect to the activation server.
Hi. I'm using Windows 7 and Adobe Digital Editions 4.0.2. Every time I try to authorize my computer with my Adobe-ID (which is working properly since I can log in to my Adobe account without any trouble) it says "connection error: digital editions could not connect to the activation server. Please check that you are connected to the internet." although my internet connection is working properly.
I tried deinstalling and reinstalling ADE, I deactivated my firewall, I've tried to download ADE via Internet Explorer (I'm usually using Firefox) with all the settings recommended here: http://tohellmylovewithyou.wordpress.com/2010/08/05/ade/ , and deleting the authorization is not possible and thus does not work either.
None of these things has helped and I haven't found any other recommendations in forums or elswhere.
Could someone help me solve this problem?

How do I overcome this problem authorizing my Kobo e-reader?
When I click-on "Authorize Device" I get the following message: 'This computer is authorized without an Adobe ID' despite me having one.
When I then click-on create Adobe ID it takes me to the page with my existing Adobe ID.
When I enter my existing Adobe ID & password a message tells me I have no internet connection, when I do.
I'm going around in circles.
Please advise anyone.

I can not move my book over to my nook. Keeps getting CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED
Try to move a downloaded book to my Nook and I get an error message CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED. No permission to copy this book. I have uninstalled the software re-authorized it several times and keep getting the error.

How do I transfer from my PC to my Nook? My device doesn't show up like it is supposed to on the sidebar.
I am taking an online class and bought the Ebook. It said to install it to my PC before my Nook. But now I can't get it to transfer to my Nook. I have Adobe Editions on my Nook because it comes with the device. When I hook up my Nook to my PC with the USB cord and open Adobe Editions, my device doesn't show up on the side bar to add the books to it. How do I get the books on my Nook?

Activation Server Error Trying to Add A Book To Device
So I downloaded an ebook book from my library, where I hoped to add to my Kobo E ink reader using digital editions. I have added e books using ADE before however they were just ones I downloaded for free from online and not borrowed from a library. This one I have borrowed from the library is an epub file? Or a .acsm file? I managed to add it to my library on Adobe Digital Editions and just went to add it to my device (by clicking and dragging within ADE) however I got the error message saying:
E_ADEPT_NETWORK
I spoke to someone on Adobe's chat, who was useless unfortunately Told me to check clock/timezone/date etc which I did and to no avail. He also suggested adding ADE as a program allowed through my Firewall which again I tried with no success, where he then sent me a link to this forum! So fingers crossed one of you lovely people can help me more than this so called "expert"

Just bought new MacBook Air, downloaded ADE 4.0, downloaded library book, plugged my Nook into computer. Every time I try to move book onto Nook, ADE closes. Any thoughts?
Does anyone have any suggestions about why ADE quits every time I try to move a book just downloaded from the library onto my Nook? Thank you for any help.

What does this mean?-> E_ACT_NOT_READY
I have a MacBook Pro and I downloaded ADE 2.0 and I am trying to download library Ebooks. I have activated the Nook on the ADE program and I have activated my overdrive account as well.
I first tried downloading ADE 4.0 but was told Nook has issues with that version. Then I downloaded 2.0.
How can I get the library books onto my Nook? I have a Nook Simple Touch

ADE keeps crashing when I download library epub books
I just downloaded the newest ADE Version 4.0.2.103411 on my apple mac air (1.4 GHz Intel Core i5) with OSX 10.9.5. When I opened library books that I downloaded on the laptop, first three books showed up but with the wrong due date. Then the fourth book I tried to open crashed ADE without error message. I returned the file to the library, and tried with a different book, but it crashed again. I tried the sample epub books from ADE website, and this worked fine. I tried downloading and opening the same library book on my desktop, and it works fine, and the due dates are correct as well. The bottom-line, it's just the newest ADE on my laptop that won't work with library epub files with due dates on them. Can someone please help me out? If there is no other options, can someone tell me how I can properly uninstall ADE so I can reinstall and see if that fixes things?

have successfully downloaded a library book to adobe digital edition but after copying to e reader, it cannot be read. message says "invalid active info". the book can be read from the computer library but it seems that copying is not allowed. authorisation looks ok.
what has gone wrong?
