PRS-T1 not showing in ADE 3.0, what is the fix for this? Have read nothing but problems about this sony model w/ADE, have tried ALL the suggestions, NO JOY! What's a guy to do?

As title says, have tried everything I could read on this topic for the last 3 days.  Tried all "work-a-rounds", uninstall, reinstlled, safe mode and still nothing was successful in ADE showing my device.  Surely there is someone out there that has had this same problem and would be willing to share what he/she did to be able to copy a ebook from the computer to the ereader.  Have this sit BM'd for easy reference. PLEASE!
