I've been using ADE for years. Of a sudden, when I changed computers, I can't use it. Downloads from vendors (in this case Kobo) won't work, and I can't activate ADE on my current computer.
I have uninstalled and installed repeatedly, turned off Windows Firewall, wiped parts of the Registry (Adept folder) as instructed, seen there are no active or failed tasks, etc.
Still, I get the "can't contact server" error message.
This is becoming extremely irritating, and I'd like some help solving.
