Why can't view PDFs in Chrome after installing ADE?
A coworker of mine installed Adobe Digital Editions on her PC as required to read E-books on the American Medical Association's website. She uses Google Chrome as her default web browser, which she used to download the install file for ADE. She installed ADE, did not register it as she wanted to view the e-books solely on her one PC. However, now when she opens up normal PDFs while browsing with Chrome, the PDFs attempt to load (for several minutes), but never display. When she goes to use Firefox to view the PDFs within the browser, there is no problem at all. Did the installation of ADE somehow mess with any plugins within Chrome to where she can't view PDFs within Chrome? Any help would be great. Please respond

ADE keeps crashing
I recently downloaded ADE 4.0 on my mac (OS 10.9.4) I then borrowed an ebook from my library and tried to open it. This caused ADE to crash. I tried again and it still crashed. Every time I try to open this book (.acsm) or transfer it to my Nook, the program crashes. I tried to uninstall and reinstall ADE but that did not help. Any advice or thoughts? Thanks!

Having Trouble with Vendor Authorization
Downloaded a purchased book from Google Play into Adobe. It won't play and won't transfer to Kobo saying it doesn't have a Vendor Authorizaation. Every time I put in my password it doesn't recognize it. Now it won't even give me a new password.

Error - no permission to copy this book
I keep getting this message and can't copy books over to my Kobo, but I do what it tells me in google (erase authorization, etc). Any suggestions?

Extemely slow.
My digital editions will not move through a page or turn a page without taking minutes. I can not use it to read the books I downloaded. Is there a new version. I have Windows 8 with a new computer.

My computer will not authorize correctly for color nook
After recent computer issues, I no longer had my color nook authorized for digital editions 3.0--- I have been to Barnes and Noble to get assist- have deleted nook/digital editions off computer- reset noon to original factory settings- noon, Barnes and Noble and adobe account have all the same email address. I have removed and reapplied editions 3.0 and even tried 4.0- on screen for either edition it shows my noon and adobe authorizations for computer with matching email addressed- However when I go to public library and attempt to return a book via noonk/3.0 digital adobe I get error message that my computer is not authorized and can not return book. Again I have all matching emails. ANY SUGGESTIONS-- I am not happy with Adobe helpline- they did not give me any answers and sent me here to forum- Hopefully someone some wheres can give me timely assistance. Thanks in advance@

Have had no success in fixing ui.dll error in Lightroom 5.6 using Win 7 Ultimate?
Have been using every version of PS thru CS6, now with CC. When right clicking a photo to open, I get ui.dll error saying to fix re-install. Checking ui.dll in LR 5.6 it says it is 3.53 MB. Have gone through try ing to fix it with 5.5 ui.dll, one I get when trying to find one to change in X64 folder, re-naming one found in original folder to ui.dll it doesn't work. HOW do I get it to work as it did in ALL versions before?

"Quit Unexpectedly"
I have installed Adobe Digital Editions but cannot run it. It opens just fine and takes me through the Setup Assistant successfully. However, when I click on an eBook to download to the program it fully loads the eBook and then the program closes immediately with no explanation or solution options. I simply get an error message saying the program has "quit unexpectedly." HELPPPPP!!!!!

Having trouble making file fit my Kobo screen...
I transfered a book to my Kobo using Adobe Digital Editions software. My problem is that the font is very small on my Kobo and when I enlarge the font I have to enlarge it for each page and then navigate the page. Is there any way that the files can be changed in Adobe to properly fit the Kobo?

Digital Rights Management issues with my Kobo Glo
I have recently run into issues with reading library books on my Kobo Glo. I get the message that my document is not authorized for use with my Adobe ID. I re-installed Adobe Digital Editions on a new laptop today and activated an Adobe ID, using the same Adobe account I have always had, and still get this message. I have also performed all the troubleshooting suggested by Kobo - soft reset of my e-reader, factory re-set, re-borrowing the library book, and I still get this message. What seems to be the issue? I'm hoping I can get help on this forum - thanks!

E_ADEPT_DUPLICATE_TRANSACTION_ID
Can you please tell me what this means? I am trying to download files that must be open using Adobe Digital Editions, but I cannot get the files open and continue to receive this message. I have asked the AMS Bookstore to re-authorize my account downloads since it could be security related. I have had a difficult time downloading these URL Link files and opening them up with Adobe Digital.

Cannot connect to Activation Server
My system is Windows Vista.
Recently installed ADE 3.0.
I tried to open ACSM file, both with & w/o authorization ID.
Both times, I get the same error: cannot connect to Activation Server
My internet connection works.
So, I configured my Windows Firewall, so that ADE 3.0 is on the exceptions list.
Same error: cannot connect to Activation Server

Multiple file analysis feature and export to TXT
The project i am working on now has 22 songs... basically a double album. It took FOREVER to run the analysis scan on all those tracks and copy/paste the info to a TXT file. Why don't you just supply a feature that does this for a CD project?

I have checked and the Adobe Digital Editions is authorized. The library book doesn't expire for another 14 days. These have been the only two suggestions that I have found in other forums. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I replaced a previous ADE with ADE 4.0 today and after downloading a book from online library, I attempted to copy it to my Kobo E-Reader. Each time I tried ADE shut down. Thanks for any help you may provide.

I have just downloaded an eBook which has DVD content. When I click on the DVD icon in the book it does not play the DVD. I am using a MacBook Pro and have just downloaded ADOBE digital version 3. Do you have any advice. Thank you

Computer authorized to old (defunct email address), updated Adobe ID. Digital Editions (reinstalled twice) won't decrypt and add downloaded PDF books
iMac Intel running OS 10.6.8 I downloaded purchased books from Google Play/Books in EPUB and PDF. They are encrypted (.pdf.acsm). Adobe Digital Editions reader will not add them to my library because, I suspect, my computer is authorized with an Adobe ID that uses a now defunct email address. I have updated my ID on the Adobe web site, redownloaded and reinstalled Adobe Digital Editions but my computer remains authorized to the old Adobe ID. How do I decrypt these purchased books and read them in Adobe Digital Editions on my computer?
