Anybody know what this is about as I didn't have any problem on a previous computer.
Hi, my problem is that when I try to authorize my new MacBook with my Adobe ID when logging in on Adobe Digital Edition it says:
"you can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices"
Although right above it says: "Authorizing your computer enables you to: Easily transfer Adobe DRM protected items between multiple computers and mobile devices" etc. which I interpreted that, I should be able to use this ID on multiple computers, in my case my new MacBook and also my stationary computer. So... why do I receive this message when I try to authorize? Could it be because I'm authorized on my old computer? I don't have access to that computer anymore so how do I erase that authorization?

my textbook disappeared from my library and I can seem to get it back. HELP!
I need my activation count reset because I'm getting a "too many activations" error after getting new computer, phone, and e-reader. Why is Adobe sending me around and around in circles to contact them?! This should be so much easier to do. I'm sorry I don't have the same devices I had in 2009 when I first got my ADE account!
I bought an eBook in 2015.
I cannot open it now, getting the message: "The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open." This is simply untrue. I've never changed by Adobe password. I moved from one Mac to another, but that shouldn't matter given the file is linked to the account rather than the device.
DRM problems again.
Please if there's anything you can do; Any help would be greatly appreciated.
After dowloading the EPUB of the 13 ebooks that I purchased in the Google Play Store, the ACSM-files don't open in ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS (which is needed to transfer the ebooks to my e-reader Sony PRS-T2) because "Communicationproblem with license-server : E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_TOO_SHORT :".
So far, no solution has been given in this forum ! Google Support Team pretend there is nothing wrong with the content of their books, so it would be an issue that has to be solved by Adobe.
Waiting for an answer by Adobe.

Deleting the Adept key in the Registry Editor and reauthorizing ADE didn't solve the solution for me.

I just downloaded two books from Google Play Books. I cannot transfer them to my Nook.
When I try to open the ASCM file in Adobe Digital Editions, it says:

I even downloaded Adobe Digital Editions for my Android, my Desktop and Android are both authorized using the same Apple ID, the new 'How to get started' ebook from downloading the app appeared in both my Desktop library and my Android library, but the ebooks that are on the desktop library have not appeared on the Android. I definitely have the authorization correct, but it's not working both-ways.
There also doesn't seem to be any way to open the ebook I purchased from the Google Play Store within the Adobe Digital Editions android app. So, for my needs, the app is totally useless (no books from my library, and no books from my device). I just don't get it, what's the app for? So even if I did get the synchronization to work both ways, I still will not be able to achieve my goal of purchasing an ebook from Google Play Books and reading it on a device with a decent battery life.

Necessary rant: Yep, so, Google should stop using Adobe for DRM and roll their own, it would be a lot better. I probably would be able to manage my library online and not with some 32-bit Windows application when I'm a Linux user.
Via ADE wil ik boeken downloaden op onze e-readers. De boeken moeten komen van Onlinebibliotheek.nl. Inmiddels is het mij gelukt om beide e-readers aan ADE te koppelen en tevens te autoriseren. Zowel het Adobe account, als beide autorisaties laten ons huidig e-mailadres zien.
Het vreemde is dat de laptop zelf stelt dat de autorisatie van deze computer zelf gekoppeld is aan een oud e-mailadres. Weet iemand hoe ik mijn computer/laptop kan autoriseren met mijn nieuw e-mailadres?

When I try to add the ACSM file to my ADE library, I receive the following error:

Trying to authorize my PC with Adobe Digital Editions using 'Google' as my ebook vendor. Authorization keeps failing with the error message.
"Incorrect login ID or password for the selected eBook vendor. Please try again"
I know my login details are correct. I have tried omitting the @gmail.com with no luck. I want to be able to import my google play books collection into Adobe Digital Editions.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I have successfully authorized, but I cannot download the book. It gives me the following message: Unable to download. Error getting licence. Licence server communication problem. E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED. I have already de-authorized then re-authorized after re-installing the Adobe Editions Software again.

I tested on multiple eBooks and also sample eBooks that adobe provides online but still cannot copy and paste any text.
Steps that I followed:
1. Re-installed adobe digital editions to my PC - used windows 7 professional
2. cleared cache and cookies and downloaded eBook again from website after removing the previous download
3. created Adobe Id and authorized the computer
4. Download different ebooks online and tested on them as well but no luck at all.
Lastly, I get in tho online chat with one of your staff and they advice below details:

No confirmed information - can you confirm that can we copy and paste text in Adobe Digital Editions or not? If not then its because free product?
Also, cannot print the eBook details on Adobe Digital Editions at all - Print option grayed out - also this option not available at all, can you confirm please?

All of a sudden I can't open library books I've transferred from ADE onto my Nook. I get a "loan token update failed" message. My Adobe DRM settings are fine. I don't know what to do, I waited a long time on hold for this book and now I can only read it if I sit in front of the computer. Help!!!!

Je ne parviens pas à lire d'ebook sur ma liseuse. A chaque fois que je copie l' eBook sur ma liseuse Kobo avec ADE, la couverture est noire et je n'ai pas le droit d'ouvrir, le message est : Ce livre est protégé par Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM). Ayant bloqué l'accès au livre, vous devez renouveler l'accès au livre et l'importer à nouveau en utilisant ADE. Ce que j'ai fait. J'ai fait toutes les démarches pour réparer le compte de la liseuse, reconfigurer, enlever et remettre l'autorisation pour l'ordinateur et le périphérique. Je ne sais plus quoi faire pour avoir accès aux livres que l'emprunte. Avez-vous une solution?

J'ai une liseuse Kobo Touch 2.0 avec laquelle je lisais des livres empruntés dans une librairie publique à travers le logiciel Adobe Digital Edition 4.5. Depuis deux jours, à chaque fois que j'essaie d'ouvrir le nouveau livre que j'ai emprunté, il apparaît le message d'erreur : " Votre liseuse n'est pas autorisée à ouvrir ce livre. Ce livre est protégé par Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM°. Ayant bloqué l'accès à votre liseuse, vous devez renouveler l'accès au livre et l'importer à nouveau en utilisant Adobe Digital Editions (ADE)."
J'ai essaie d'autoriser à nouveau l'ordinateur et la liseuse, j'ai essayé d'emprunter à nouveau le livre et j'ai aussi réinitialisé la liseuse, mais rien ne marche, il est toujours impossible de lire le livre sur la liseuse (le livre est lisible seulement sur mon ordinateur).
Pouvez-vous m'aider à résoudre ce problème ?

Depuis quelques temps ma bibliothèque ne s'ouvre plus et cela sans message d'erreur(la fenêtre "chargement de la bibliothèque" apparait mais cela en reste là), j'ai essayé plusieurs fois de réinstaller ADE sans succès, j'ai même réinstallé Windows 7 sur mon PC sans résultats... Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider? Merci d'avance
