Bluefire Reader fulfillment-stream error

I have recently started having problems downloading library books from Overdrive site which supports our local library (Home - Oregon Digital Library Consortium ).

 

I am using an ASUS tablet running Windows 10 32 bit home edition. The software is Bluefire Reader. The exact error message is:

Fulfillment errror - Error while streaming.

[F/9]

 

According to several posts found on this forum, I attempted to have my Adobe ID authorization reset. Supposedly it was (though I doubt it). It did not fix the problem. (Yes I did de-authorize and re-authorize the application.)

 

Another post provided a link to set the authorization, and that file downloaded and loaded into my reader with no problems. However, the problem remains with my library.

 

I have disabled the firewall and anything else which might be a problem (such as my anonymizer). I can download on my desktop computer, but I am more likely to read on my tablet so I want to find a solution to this problem.

Change the download folder of ADE

Just installed Adobe Digital Editions 4.54

How can I change the folder where ADE puts the ebook

At present it is on the C drive in Documents folder, I want to change that to another download folder

Can no see how to do that

Unable to open ADE 4.5 and epub files

I have a problem with Adobe Digital Editions (4.5.4) in Windows 10.  When I try to open ADE, an icon appears on the taskbar with a blue line (showing it is active), but ADE does not appear on the screen.  This happens however I try to turn it on, e.g. from the start menu, from a screen icon, or by right-clicking on an epub book in 'My Digital Editions' and telling the computer to open it using ADE.  If I try to open an epub (e.g. welcome.epub) and hover over the ADE icon on the taskbar, a thumbnail of the epub appears, but clicking on it just makes the thumbnail disappear.  When I then right-click on the ADE icon and tell it to close the window, a dialog box appears with the message (which I don't understand): "welcome.epub is not open from library, would you like to copy it to library?"  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling ADE.

Has anyone else had this problem?  How can I get Adobe Digital Editions to open properly so that I can read my epub files?

Why do public library books no longer open on Kobo e-reader?

Have been successfully borrowing and reading public library books on my Kobo through Adobe Didgital Editions for years. Since February 2017 the books appear to load onto the e-reader but when I try to open the book to read, I get the message ["Oops! This Document couldn't be opened. This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM) and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID. Please sign-in with the authorized Adobe ID and try again. www.kobo.com/help".]  I have contacted Kobo for help - and was told to revert to the older version of ADE 3.0, this fix did not change anything. I took my computer & e-reader to a computer technician, they couldn't fix it either. My ADE says that my computer IS authorized.  I DO NOT know what else to do to fix this issue, can you HELP? PLEASE!

I cannot slide over some very recent books from the library, but can slide over any western or outdated books very easily.  I keep getting "not responding" all the time on recent dated books .

ADE v 4.5.1.133054

Windows 7

 

We got new computers at work.

I installed ADE 4.5 last week.

I was able to read books with an anonymous authorization.

Recently, I tried to open ADE, and got a white screen.

No bookshelf layout, nothing but the "File ... Help" menu bar.

 

A forum post suggested I reset the authorization.

It took my Adobe ID and authorized the computer.

 

But still the white screen.

When I try to open one of the ACSM files, I get:

Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:

E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER

(DRM problem... but the computer hasn't changed! They're still here! The Windows user hasn't changed, it's still me! My "download" folder, etc.)

 

I tried resetting the authorization again, to anonymous.

I get the same error message.

 

I uninstalled ADE 4.5 and reinstalled it. It asked if I wanted my older files migrated. I confirmed.

But I'm still getting the same blank window.

Also the same error message when I try to open an ACSM file.

 

So I tried a PDF with no DRM.

It downloads, but doesn't appear on that blank white screen.

So I tried to download it again, it says it's already in the library.

But I can't see anything, because the window is blank.

(It opens fine with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.)

 

When I try using 2.0 and 3.0, I get the same blank screen, except the bookshelf categories are listed, but no books.

When I add another title in 3.0 (Flatland), it appears on the bookshelf.

 

I see no bookshelf in ADE 4.5 .

Adobe Digital Editions - Blank Screen no visibility of books/library

Hello, Just in the last week all 3 of our computers are doing the same thing. We open Adobe Digital Editions and get a Blank Screen. You can not see books / bookshelves or the library. There are definitely books there that we have borrowed & downloaded from the Public Library. But we can't see them to be able to read them. Nor can we see our E-Book Readers when we connect those to the PC.

 

I tried to Unistall & Re-Install ADE on one of the Laptops and it worked for one night. The next day we were back to a blank screen. So I tried to Unistall, Rename the "My Digital Editions" Folder to "My Digital Editions.Old" then Reinstalled ADE. Again, it worked for one night and the next day we were back to a blank screen. This is obviously very frustrating and since it is happening on 3 different computers I can't blame the computer! Does anyone have any suggestions.

 

We are going on a holiday in a few weeks time and want to be able to have Library Books loaded onto our E-book Readers / Laptop before we go.

 

This is what the screen looks like.

Incorrect Username and Password

When I attempt to download Adobe Digital Editions, it asks for my username and password. Each time I type the username and password given me by Adobe via email, it tells me that my username and/or password is incorrect. Please help.

ADE 4.5 does not see my Sony Reader

I just installed ADE 4.5, but it does not see my Sony Reader when I connect it. A device authorization screen does not pop-up, even when I type CTL + SHFT + E. I was using ADE 3.0 before, and it could see my Sony. I had to upgrade because of my book vendor, Kobo, requested it so my new puchases could be downloaded to my computer. In order to download the books, I had to deauthorize and reauthorize the computer. I did this using regedit, following a procedure from this forum. It suggested deleting the key and the DEVICE directory, which I did (and probably is the cause of my problem).

 

Now, ADE does communicate with my Kobo library and allows me to transfer books to my computer, but that is not where I read them. I want to load them on my Sony Reader. Any advice?

authorization issues

I have downloaded ade and updated but when it was done a few years ago I was using it through my library. It is associated with my library card and local library. I now can't read books through other programs and I can't de-authorize it since it wants a vendor log in. How can I fix this or who should I contact? my library has been no help at all.

   We use Edition Guard to download our textbooks and manuals.

 

We sent our students links and this is the message that comes up when they use Adobe Reader.

 

       Unable to download

Error getting License.License Server

     Communication Problem:

      E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN

 

 

Edition Guard said everything looked good from their end and to contact Adobe, so I contacted Adobe help and they said to put it on the forums as they couldn't help.

I have downloaded Cloud Library App and have upgraded Adobe Digital Ed. to 4.5 but am still getting error message:  Activation Not Ready, when attempting to download books. What am I doing wrong?

ADE Oops message

So my ADE worked fine for the first library books. then I keenly returned four within hours and set to reading a longer one. In the meantime, a short book that I requested came up and I plugged in my Kobo H2O, ready to load the new book on. 

 

I got a message. "Oops, this content cannot be read because.......adobe ID"

 

i have tried everything. Uninstalled ADE. Reinstalled ADE. Unauthorized my Kobo. Reauthorizes my Kobo. now the book I was happily reading works no more. HELP!

 

I have had a Kobo for a month and honestly in a tie with Kindle the bonus was that I could read library books. It seems that was a stretch.

 

Oh, and let's not forget that the Adobe HELP does not HELP for free product like ADE.   Ummm...what???

ADE 4.5 does not recognize my Sony Reader

I have just installed Adobe Digital Editions 4.5. When I connect my Sony Reader device, it is not recognized. I am unable to launch the authorization procedure for the device with the CTRL + SHFT + U key (or any other). Any advice on how to get ADE to see my reader and load books on it?

issue with Adobe Digital Editions after upgrade to iOS 10.3

Hi,

 

i have Adobe Digital Editions to my iPhone. After upgrading to new iOS version (10.3), the adobe digital editions not work properly. I can't open any of my e-books.  The application not responding.

I tried to remove Adobe Digital Editions from my iPhone and installed again but i have the sane issue.

 

Please can you help me?

ADE does not recognize my PocketBook Touch Lux 3

I am using Win10Pro - I have reinstalled ADE, reauthorized the Reader (same Adobe ID), restarted, reconnected...

My wife is using the same product with Win10Home, same FW on the readers - it works fine.

Of course I can copy books or download links using the explorer as a workaround, bt it's not really convenient...

Thanks for any suggestions or help!
