I bought a book off Khalari and downloaded it onto editions, as soon as I tried to open the book, editions started giving trouble. Initially I couldn't page through the book and then the program just shut down on its own and I haven't been able to open it again. I tried uninstalling it and installing it again from a version id saved (this is version 4.0.3) and when that didn't work I tried downloading it again off the internet and installing that but it still gives me the same problem. Can anyone help with this problem, I realise everyone has similar issues but none quite the same as mine as the solutions suggested do not seem to work for my problem. Thank you

J'ai acheté un livre en téléchargement il y a quelques heures mais quand j'ouvre le fichier acsm correspondant, j'obtiens ce message sur Adobe Digital Editions :
"Erreur lors de l'obtention de la licence. Problème de communication avec le serveur de licences :
E_ACT_NOT_READY"
Que puis-je faire ? J'ai essayé de changer l'heure de mon mac, desactivée les firewalls et rien ne marche...

My old XP box finally needed replacing's, so new Win 8.1 Laptop transfer E-Books with the correct account and they don't work!! Already authorised!!

Ciao ho avuto un problema in fase di registrazione dell'account proprio con una disconnessione del server, credo che questo abbia creato dei problemi di connessione al server e quindi non riesco a visualizzare gli ebooks acquistati.

When i try to open my downloaded ebook ( .acsm) in Digital Editions, i get the error message "E_ADEPT_INTERNAL". And that's it! I read on forums how to solve this problem by deleting the activation.dat file from the Library and download the ebook again. No succes. Also reinstall Digital editions does not solve the problem.
The history of this problem: I bought 2 ebooks ( .pdf & .epub) from bol.com in Holland. Opened them in Digital Editions without any problems. Then my hard drive crashed (no copy of the ebooks, my fault). Downloaded the ebooks again and tried to open them in Digital Editions. That gives me the error message "E_ADEPT_INTERNAL". I'm using Adobe Digital Editions 4.0.2 on a macbook pro.
What else can i do to solve the problem? Is there a discussion i missed explaining how to solve this problem? Help would be appreciated.

Hola, estoy intentando autorizar un archivo ACSM con la más reciente versión de Adobe Digital Editions. Meto mi ID y le doy a autorizar y me sale el siguiente mensaje:
Digital Editions no ha podido conectarse al servidor de activación. Asegúrese de que está conectado a Internet.
He comprobado el Firewall, he descargado el archivo y justo después la activación, he desactivado el antivirus, me funciona perfectamente el Internet. Ya no sé qué más hacer. Por ayudarme, porque sino pierdo el dinero invertido en este libro.
Una de las veces me ha dejado autorizar, pero se queda autorizando (lo dejé 1 hora) y dudo que tarde tanto.

Deauthorizing an adobe id
My husband downloaded an ebook to add to Adobe Digital Editions. I wanted to run it on my computer, however, I accidently typed in the wrong Adobe id into Adobe Digital Editions. Is there anyway that I can "deauthorize" my computer in order to put in the Adobe id that was used initially to purchase the ebook?

Was mache ich falsch, bitte um Hilfe, damit ich meinen Computer autorisieren kann.

acsm autorization
It says me that i can't activate one ACSM file, because i have no connection to internet. My internet is working succesfully and i have permissions from the firewall of windows and i also have turned off the virus scan. I really need your help.
I'm using ADE v4.0.3 in windows vista and i was trying it in windows 8 as well. i was unlocking the setup file before installing too. I really don't know what else do.

Unable to scroll in Adobe DE V3
unable to scroll through pages when ebook is open without minimizing and maximizing the window.
I have an eBook open in the Adobe Digital Edition 3.0 program. With the eBook open I cannot scroll through the pages, the page up and down or even the arrow keys have no effect. I need to minimizing and maximizing the screen each time. I should be able to browse the the pages without this inconvenience.
My company has given me important documents to read, unfortunately they are all .acsm and worst it needs ONLY Adobe Digital Edition to open. DE is a disaster, i can't understand how could adobe release this without proper test results.PATHETIC. i running behind schedule because of my company banks with Adobe, they had better options. I checked and even my other friends also reported the same problem, i uninstalled and reinstalled DE but no go.
