Nook not showing up in devices on ADE
I've downloaded ADE onto my computer, authorized it, downloaded a book, but when I try to sync it to my Nook it is not listed under devices. There isn't even a devices area listed, just library. I've tried syncing a bunch of times. Even deleting ADE from the Nook as instructed. Am not having any luck. Suggestions before I have resort to a factory reset?

Can't open DRM ebooks on Kobo Glo
I gave my mom a Kobo Glo for Christmas, but I can't get Adobe Digital Editions to work with it properly. I installed ADE 2.0 on her Windows XP machine and it recognized and authorized the Kobo, but when I try to open a library book on the Kobo, the cover appears and then the screen goes black and I'm returned to the main menu. The book is then marked as Finished.
Other DRMed books on her Kobo (free ones from the Kobo Store) won't open, but display an error message: "Oops! This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM) and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID [etc]..."
I've tried some of the suggestions I've seen here, including deleting the authorization on the device and reconnecting. I've also tried deleting the Digital Editions folder on the Kobo and reconnecting. Nothing appears to be resolving this problem.
I guess the next step would be to revert the Kobo back to factory and start all over. Any other suggestions?

Adobe Digital Editions page navigation issue
Adobe Digital Editions page navigation issue. We are a large University running OSX and PC as many versions as you can think off including students byo devices ADE versions vary but the issue stays the same
There are certain areas that can gain focus and will "eat" the navigation commands, and it isn't always obvious when those areas have the focus. For instance the text controls for the current page and find. However the worst is probably the book information display in the table of contents.
This does not fix the issue
Intermittent causes to happens if client has switched to another application and back while digital editions is open
I get 30 minutes of reading it, and like clockwork the arrow keys stop working
This is a costly bug and we would appreciate a fix or at the least a work-around.

I'm having serious Lag running this app on my Mid 2010 MacBook Pro, what's the fix?
When I scroll through the pages or try to highlight, the page movement stutters & lags and then freezes and I get the" pinwheel". All my other apps are running fine. I tried updating but non are to be found. Does anyone know what to do about ?

I use ADE 3 on Win 8.1 laptop. Program works well. But when I try to return library books early ADE crashes. I would like to return books. How can I fix this.

ADE crashes on minimise
I've just updated to ADE 4.0.3. It opens fine but whenever I minimise the screen the programme immediately crashes saying that ADE has stopped working. I use Win8.1. ADE was fine before I updated it. Any ideas?

Ebooks will not open after Digital Edition update
Hi,
I am a student, I have a couple ebooks that I have been reading for a couple months.
I just installed the software's update and it will not let me open my books because I need an authorization.
When I try to enter my Adobe ID it says my account is not associated with the item I am trying to open.
I paid a lot of money for these books and I need them right away to study.
Please help!

I am trying to download a library book (Epub ebook) into my Mac laptop. I have updated my Adobe Edition to 4.0. I keep getting this message
Unable to download, error getting License, License server communication Problem E_ACT_NOT_READY
I have gotten in touch with the library. They advised me to do the following:
Mac OS
Open Adobe Digital ! Editions.
Press Command+Shift+D to deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions.
Select Erase Authorization.
Click OK and Quit Adobe Digital Editions.
Navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash.
I am stuck on Erase Authorization. After I choose erase authorization another message pops up: Unable to Erase Authorization. Please try again after some time. I tried all day in fact I even went to the Apple Store where a staff member was also unable to get any further!!

When I download an ebook from my local library using ADE it won't download it into my ADE library only into my computer (the book doesn't appear in my ADE libarary).
...only onto my computer (the book doesn't appear in my ADE library). I am not new to this, I have been using library ebooks for a year now. I am registered, etc, I get now alert/error messages. The ebooks just do not show up in the library so that I can then transfer to my Nook. Can someone please help me?
