Why can't I transfer book from pc to nook? I was able to do so in the past

I installed Digital Editions 4.5.126523, Several items are grayed out: Add Highlight, Play Media Overlay, Double Page View, Show Page Numbers. Also the help file returns a not found from Adobe. How do I fix this? I have not authorized this since all books are ones I currently possess.

I'm attempting to help a client open an ACSM file on her computer running Windows 7. She recently upgraded to 4.5, and ever since has been unable to open ACSM files. When she tries, the ADE installation window opens instead of ADE and the computer attempts to install 4.5, although the program is already installed and can be opened from the shortcut on her desktop. She can add regular files to the app, but not ACSM files.

We spent an hour clearing all traces of the app from her computer, although we couldn't use the uninstaller.exe file as that prompted a similar message that said a 4.5 installer was already running. After restarting the computer, we tried reinstalling the app, and everything looked fine until we attempted to open an ACSM file. Then the same installer launched and the same pop-up appeared at the end of the install process. It doesn't matter whether ADE is already open or not...the same process begins and the same error message occurs.

I would welcome any recommendations for how to fix this problem.

Hi, I have downloaded ADE on my laptop in order to gain access to an e-book for my studies. I can only access it through ADE. Apparently, I should be able to access it on other devices, such as tablets. But I am struggling to find a way to get it on my kindle. Any help?

I recently purchased an ebook from Google and would like to transfer it to my ebook reader. To do so, I have installed Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) and downloaded the ebook. When I am trying to open the downloaded file ADE asks my to authorize my computer, asking for vendor, vendor ID & password. I tried with: "vendor: google" and my adobe account ID & pw but it did not work. Please help me with this computer authorization. What ID & pw I am supposed to use? Thnx F. B.

I bought an ebook on the google play store and downloaded it. When I add it to my adobe digital edition library I am prompted to authorize the computer. I have selected google as the ebook vendor and entered my login details (same as the google play store) but I keep getting an error message that my detail cannot be recognised? What detail am I supposed to put in the vendor login ID and vendor password?

Keeping getting error message "Document is licensed for a different user account". Have tried reinstalling, tried deleting from library and bringing back in, opened webcase 4 months ago (no response) and again today (doubt I'll get response).

Any advice?

I try to deploy ADE 4.5 silently with the following command but a window popup comes up and ask me if I want to include Norton Security: ADE_4.5_Installer.exe /s

It says to add some reg keys before running the install silently.

In my case, I still get the popup window so I can't use this method to mass deploy this update.

Do you have another switch command or reg keys to avoid this behaviour please?
