I have Adope ID and Digital Edition .
When I download a book from my public library, I can not copy the book from my PC to my Tolino reader.
It says copying not allowed.
When I got My Adope ID ther was a section Vendorwhich I did not answer because I did not know what to choose, could this be the problem.
In my Adope account there is no possibility ro change Vendor!
It doesn't happen all the time, but on random ebooks I try to return. I am using ADE 4.5 on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. After I re-open IDE, when I try to return the book again, it claims a E_BAD_LOAD_ID, and I can only delete it from my library instead. The following are two error messages that I get from the Windows before it crashes. Seems like it's identical.

Can someone help me with how to change the authorization? This is not the original version of Digital Editions that came with my laptop - that version got corrupted but it didn't have an ID. The updated version I downloaded does but it's linked to an old, hacked email address I no longer use. My email address was changed by one of the technicians but the old address is still on Digital Editions. I can't download books that are Adobe as they only go into digital editions; the epubs go straight into Kobo without any problems.

J'ai essayé de réinstaller plusieurs fois le logiciel, et il reconnait bien un ID. Pourtant je ne peux pas télécharger mes livres, ni même supprimer l'autorisation pour l'autoriser à nouveau. Entre temps j'ai déménagé de France Métropolitaine pour les Antilles, est-ce que ça peut être ça le problème. Nous sommes dans une zone "no-where" pour beaucoup d'application android. Même problème?

I have downloaded an e-book from Kobo, it appears in my ADE library but when I try to copy it to my e-reader I get this message
CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No permission to copy book.
Is there something I have not done?
My Windows is 7 Professional.
I've tried several times and using different downloads, zip, browsers, but ADE won't install correctly on my office Lenovo 64 bit ThinkPad. Now what?
It loaded perfectly on my private MacBook (Why the office moved away from Mac I'll never know) and my iPads, but not on my office machine, where I want it.
I download books through BC libraries and transfer them onto a Kobo through Adobe Digital Editions. None of the titles will open and I keep getting the message about the DRM protection asking me to authorize the device. The problem is I'm not sure why I am getting the message when my computer and device ARE already authorized. An agent for Adobe redirected me here, can anybody help? I also tried to open a sample title on the device as per his request and my screen just went blank when I tried

Please can you let me know if there has been any update on how to perform a silent install for Adobe Digital Editions. I specifically want to automate the activation process for multiple users by selecting the do not authorise option automatically so the install completes without any user interaction.

I have unauthorized, reauthorized, removed the software and re-downloaded it. Currently, I can't get the book to copy to my Nook. Using a Toshiba Satellite L775. There are no error messages. The program just freezes up.

I have had a Sony Ereader (TS-3 with WiFi) for several years now, and recently when I try to upload a book from my Library-OverDrive (using the WiFi), the title and cover-image comes up on the eReader's Home screen, but when I try to access it, the access is denied. The Adobe connection keeps requiring my ID and P/W....but when I insert it, it just repeats itself with the same window asking for my ID and P/W. I have checked with Adobe and I am able access my account with the same ID and P/W..............so I am not sure what is happening....nor how to correct it. There does not seem to be any way of contacting an Adobe human being to settle the situation.
Even when I upload a book to my ReaderPC app, and then transfer it to my Ereader via a USB cable, I am unable to access the book. It give me the same ID song and P/W dance.

After a fatal HDD crash and rebuild, my ADE was working fine but now it's not. I purchased a book from Google, it starts to download to ADE then I get the ADE message "Error Getting License. License Server Communication Problem. E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_OPEN_ERROR. Can anyone help? I've re-booted and re-authorized with no success. My wife is all over me to get this fixed so she can read the book. Thanks.

when I open digital editions,my reader does not show on the side panel,im unable to transfer books to my reader,they are on my laptop but unable to go any further
Fehlermeldung E_ADEPT_XML_SYNTAX : was ist zu tun? Es gibt noch keine Antwort, obwohl einige User dieses Problem haben.
After dowloading the EPUB of the 13 ebooks that I purchased in the Google Play Store, the ACSM-files don't open in ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS (which is needed to transfer the ebooks to my e-reader Sony PRS-T2) because "Communicationproblem with license-server : E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_TOO_SHORT :".
So far, no solution has been given in this forum ! Google Support Team pretend there is nothing wrong with the content of their books, so it would be an issue that has to be solved by Adobe.
Waiting for an answer by Adobe.

The book transferred fine from my public library to ADE on the computer and can be read there It appeared to transfer to my Kobo Touch ok, but won't open there. Message on the e reader is saying "This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management and is not currently authorized for use with you Adobe ID. Please sign in again with your authorized Adobe ID again and try again". Adobe on my computer signs me in automatically and I don't know what else to do in that respect. I tried signing out of Kobo and setting it up again, but that didn't work either. Other library books have transferred to the e reader fine, so don't know why this one is different. Many thanks.
