error autorizacion en Ipad

desde ayer me da error en la autorizacion de mi cuena en el ipad, deber ser porque lo instale en el ordenador, y despues de ello me dejode funcionar en la tablet.

lo quite del ordenador y todo y me sigue saliendo este mensaje: error digital editions no ha podido conectarse al servidor de activacion asegurese de que esta conectado  internet.

el ipad esta bien conectado he probad conectarlo a la red de casa, a la de mi movil. he desintalado varias veces la aplicacion, en el ordenador, he reiniiado la tablet...y no puedo ayuda rapidooo

I try to authorize my device (iPad). But there is a message "Digital Editions could not connect to the activation server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet", does anyone also has this problem? and how to solve this?

I don't think Adobe aware of this problem. The way to contact them is very difficult! They should improve the others channel to report issue.

years ago I bought a lot of ebooks that are secured with my Adobe ID. The eMail account is no longer active and also I don't remember my password.

 

My account was something like k.bestmann@foni.net or something like this. I don't remember my detailed eMail account and also my password.

The eMail account is no longer active and so I can't receive an eMail.

 

Which chance I have to reactivate my ebooks???

This is really annoying me.  I cant download any books from my local library and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling  ADE.  The only thing that might be relevant is I've changed ISP's but my old email addy is good for the next 12 months so am not even sure if changing ISP's could be a factor.

I have downloaded a file but cannot open it in adobe digital reader.  I get a spinning noise from computer and then it locks up.  When I exit the application a message says adobe digital reader is "not responding".  What needs to be done so I can open the downloaded document?

can't authorise iPad

I have an iPad with overdrive installed and for the last 2 years borrowed ebooks & audiobooks from my library on that iPad.  Then overdrive started glitching, not responding to tapping on screen to sign in etc (this is NOT the iPad problem as all other apps DO work) so I uninstalled Overdrive and reinstalled it.  Since I reinstalled it I can still borrow audiobooks from my library but I cannot borrow eBooks. It tells me to authorise and takes me to the authorise screen. Then when I press "authorise" nothing happens. Nada. Nothing. I only have 3 devices authorised when I check by logging into ADD, apparently including this one.

I've checked all the forums, tried your chat, tried twitter. No-one seems to be able to help me.   I've also tried to authorise it directly via the settings on ADD app on my iPad and it also gives me an error "Error Digital Editions encountered an error while activating."

 

I've been trying to fix this glitch for 4 days now and my patience is running out.IMG_0031.PNGIMG_9630.jpg

I need help to reset my Activation Count. But I can't reach the chat with a support tech. Please help me someone.

In my aTolino eReader the Authorization fail comes up suddenly. I have de-authorized my computer, but still the error comes up. I want to zero the count.

Can't add .ASCM files after reformatting PC.

After reformatting my PC and trying to add the .ASCM files I have obtained through google play. However when I try to add them I get an error popup that says

"E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED". I understand there is a device limit. But It is the same device with a new Windows 10 installation, Is there anything I can do?

Transferring a library book from digital editions to my nook

I have a new computer.  I installed digital editions and authorized the computer. I borrowed a library book and cannot transfer it into my Nook e-reader.  I think I probably have to make the app recognize the Nook, but I don't know how..  Can anyone help me?

Public Library customers with Kobo ereader authorization issue ADE 4.0 - 4.5, "Oops! This document couldn't be opened."

Hello Adobe support,

 

I work at a public library and we now have at least 8 - 12 members of the public (anecdotally more), who are unable to open Adobe DRM epub ebooks on their Kobo ereaders from our Overdrive or Freading services using Adobe Digital Editions versions between 4.0 and 4.5 and Windows 7 - 10. All of the people involved were using their Kobo with ADE successfully until just recently, and all have experienced the following set of conditions and problem:

 

  • ADE 4.0 - 4.5 is authorized with an Adobe ID.
  • DRM epub ebooks seem to download properly inside ADE.
  • The Kobo appears to be properly authorized and is connected via USB, appearing in ADE.
  • When the ebook is transferred to the device, it seems to work properly and no errors appear.
  • As soon as the customer ejects the Kobo and tries to open the ebook on the device itself the error message pops up: "Oops! This document couldn't be opened.  This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM) and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID.  Please sign-in with the authorized Adobe ID and try again."

 

We began receiving requests for help right with this around the week of November 8th and are continuing to receive new requests for help with this issue throughout January and as recently as today. Our primary ebook vendor has been unable to help beyond supplying the workaround of downgrading to ADE 3.0.

 

Most of the customers involved are using Windows 7, and Internet Explorer or an alternative browser like Firefox or Chrome - but we've had this issue occur at least once for someone using Windows 8 and twice for people with Windows 10. We also helped someone with this issue using Mac OSX 10.11. This issue has been reported mainly with Kobo Aura HD or Aura H2O, but also with Kobo Glo and Kobo Glo HD. The Kobo firmware has varied, some were using version 3.18.0 - some were using older versions. One frustrating aspect to this issue is that despite having a number of these exact devices on hand for testing, we have been unable to reproduce the issue on any of our workstations. There also doesn't seem to be a clear pattern to the titles involved.

 

So far, the workaround provided elsewhere on this forum and by our primary vendor has been the only way to resolve this issue for the people affected:

  1. The customer de-authorizes the Kobo and ADE 4.0 - 4.5.
  2. The customer uninstalls Adobe Digital Editions 4.X.
  3. The customer installs Adobe Digital Editions 3.0.
  4. The customer re-authorizes ADE 3.0 and the Kobo.

 

Does Adobe have any way to resolve this issue for customers who wish to use ADE 4.0 and up with their Kobo ereaders?

Is this issue being looked at for an upcoming build or are there any details that we could provide to help?

インターネットに接続されているにもかかわらずこのようなエラーが出ますが、何か解決策はないでしょうか。

I have purchased, downloaded a book & converted the "ascm" file to "epub" & loaded into my Sony PRS-900 ebook. When I try to open the book to read, I get a circle with a diagonal line through it & the message,  "protected page" on the screen. I cannot access the book. Has anyone any ideas about how to fix?

Ich kann nicht autorisieren und damit das Buch aus der Bücherei nicht auf den Tolino kopieren. Ich habe meine Adobe-ID wohl schon für etwas anderes verwendet. Kann ich eine zweite erstellen? Wenn ja, wie?
Oder gibt es einen anderen Weg von der Stadtbücherei über den Laptop zum Tolino?

Unable to erase authorization (have MAC)

I am trying to troubleshoot an error of :

Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:

E_ACT_NOT_READY

 

According to other feedback you need to erase authorization and then redo it to get this error to go away.  My issue is that when the window opens for (command-shift-D  and it has my Authorized user correct, and asks for password.  I input my Adobe password and says it is the incorrect password.  I have gone onto the main Adobe site and changed my password; reloaded Adobe digitial editions; restarted computer...

 

Still get the same error when I try and download a book.  Any ideas?

 

Even tried to do command-shift-u  which is supposed to open the authorization window, this does not work.

Multiple Issues with Android and PC versions.

I have both the PC version and the Android version of Digital Editions and I am having issues with each. I was given a free book with a purchase I had made and was given the book via digital editions. I was able to get the book to open on the desktop but that same ASCM file will not upload on the Android. Further more I powered down my computer and closed digital editions and now it won't work at all. The program is running, it is on my task bar, but every time I try and open it to view, the window shoots up from the task bar as if it is opening but it is opening above the viewable desktop. It's as if it is trying to open on a second monitor that I don't have set up.

I have windows 10 and am completely unable to download library content to

my Kobo glo. I have uninstalled and reinstalled adobe digital editions. I

have restarted my computer. I have tried to go back to adobe 3 rather than

4.5.

 

I have messed with the network keys, I de-authorized and re-authorized my

account. I have no idea what to try next.
