We use SCCM for rolling out images and try to virtualize applications as much as possible.
I've sequenced ADE into a Virtual App and deployed it via App-V on the windows 7 clients.
ADE loads up fine as it is, but when i tried to open a test doucment here: http://sed.bl.uk/DigitalEditionsFreeLink/entryPage.do it loads up ADE, but i get this error: "Error! Check Activation"
Can anyone please help?

I bought a book on IBS, then downloaded and installed ADE on my laptop. When I try to authorize my PC with the account, the program says me that the account is already connected to another device. I tried also to disconnect any Adobe account from my e-book reader, but same error. This is the only computer that I've installed ADE.
Is Adobe Digital Editions compatible with Mac OS X Version 10.4.11? I downloaded ADE 2.0 onto my MacBook Pro, and an icon appears on my desktop, but when I click on it nothing happens. When I try to open an epub document, my computer tells me "There is no default application specified to open the document". What does this mean?
I had been using ADE on another computer. Have a new computer. Installed ADE on it an download a library book to my computer. It will not let me download the book to my nook. I get error saying no authoriztion to barrow the book. I need help...
i bought a pdf book and open it tfirst without password.because my adobe id was not authorizing it. I deactivate my computer.now i again i acticvate my computer with Adobe ID and try to open my book but its not opening. saying this id is not associated with this item.even there is no option of opening it without Id and password..

Hallo wollte mal fragen wie ich wieder meine Bücher aktivieren kann da ich leider software Probleme hatte musste ich sie öfter instalieren und nun teil man mir städig mit das ich sie nicht mehr aktiviern kann. Although I can revert backt to v. 1.7.2. it is getting a problem for me because ebook sites requiring more and more ADE v. 2.0 installed. Please help.
All of a sudden Adobe Digital editions will no longer connect to the internet. It was fine before last Tuesday. Check internet settings and firewall and nothing helps. Why is it doing this and how can we fix it. Windows 7 - 64 bit

I have 2 computers, one older than the other.
- on the older, I have the old version of ADE w/ lots of ebooks on it. I had it authorized (created an account etc...).
- on the new one, I have recently downloaded the new version of ADE, without authorizing it at first.
I wanted to transfer my ebboks from the older computer to the new one. It appeared I couldn't because the books were unauthorized or something like that. So I tried to get the authorization for the new computer, and the new version of ADE. The message when I try to fill in my usual ID/Password is "You can authorize this computer only if you do not use an ID that has already been comitted to an another computer or mobile device. Please Try again" (excuse me if its not exactly what you know : I'm french, and I tried to translate the message).
I have been reading the Q&A on the subject, and none of the questions mention this type of message. I am actually trying to get rid of one of my two computer. Of course I need to authorize w/ the same account. It can't be that you are bound by one computer or device ...
I do not use any device now : my old one is broken, so I read on my comptuer.
Please, can someone give me advice ?
May be I can get my old ebooks by another method ?

I have ADE, but cannot get it to accept my EReader (Sony PRS 650 Touch). Hiw can I get my eReader authorized so I can transfer books from my ADE Library?
I am trying to use my Nook with digital editions to read a library book. I have done this in the past with no problems. Now I need a password to certify
the computer. I have tried many times resetting my password and always get the following message: Code:E-AUTH-NOT-READY.

Why is it so complicated to be able to READ a book on my Koboglo ereader.
I just want my email address to be recognized and not the old one which I do not use or remember.

I recently bought a textbook (MCB 163: Developmental Genetics) on Adobe Digital Editions per the recommendation of my instructor. I am having an ENORMOUS amount of trouble because it is AGONIZINGLY slow and I need to speed it up in order to have a functional textbook! What can I do to make things go more smoothly?
I have a Kobo e-reader and have installed Adobe Digital Editions on my PC running Win7 and it all works fine with my Adobe ID. However I also installed ADE on my Macbook Pro (Mountain Lion) and although this is also authorised to the same Adobe ID, I am unable to see any of my purchased books on it. When I check the Authorisation Information on the PC, there is a string of numbers after my email address. On the Mac, there's only the email address.
How can I get my Mac to see my bought books? I tried to de-authorise it using Cmd Shift D (found this by googling) but it didn't do anything at all.

Hello, we have a Kobo eReader and a Blackberry Playbook. We would like to sign out eBooks from our library but are having challenges. We seem to be able to download the eBooks to the Kobo eReader, but can't seem to get the same connectivity with the Playbook. The ADE will not recognize the Playbook as a separate computer so I can't authorize that device. I found Adobe Content Viewer on Blackberry World and it is supposed to interact with digital documents. I have tried to sign in with my Adobe ID on it and it will not recognize ID/Password although I can log in here just fine. Some help here would be appreciated.
Reader does not appear on the page, how do I correct this so i can transfer books to my Reader
I have been using my nook for about a month and have been downloading from the public library material to in in epub and pdf format. I just have just downloaded three books to ADE and they now reside in ADE, my problem is my Nook is not shown as connected. Does anyone have any idea as to what I should do? I can read the books on my table top, I just can't get ADE to recognize my nook when previously it worked.
