when I download a numeric book from hotmail adobe digital stop to run - je ne sais pas si le site est en anglais bref, quand je télécharge un livre a partir de hotmail (provenant de la bibiothèque nationale) le livre ne se télécharge pas et quand je branche la liseuse adobe cesse tout simplement de fonctionner. Je dois le fermer avec le gestionnaire de fichiers

I authorized both my laptop as well as my kobo touch (which is supported by ADE) but when I try to transfer my purchased book with DRM I get the following message:

Habe meinen PC irrtümlicherweise ohne ID autorisiert; jetzt kann ich den PC nachträglich nicht mehr autorisieren. Gibt es eine Hilfe ?
auch das angebliche Löschen der Autoriserung (die ja eigentlich ohne ID erfolgt war) hilft noicht weiter

The program doesn`t open
If I double click on the .exe or try to start the program via the start menu nothing happens. Anyone with the same problem? I reinstalled the program, downloaded the flash player, downloaded windows 10 but nothing helps.

Windows 10 - ADE not detected when I download books from public library
Since installing Windows 10 and ADE 4.5, when I download a book from a public library it simply downloads the .epub file to whatever directory I choose. To get it into ADE, I have to go through the "Add to Library" function within ADE.
That's fine, but ADE does not recognize it as a borrowed book, so I cannot return it when I finish it. I am approaching the maximum number of books I can have checked out at the same time from my local library because these books cannot be returned. I apparently have to wait fro them to expire.
Ideas?

How do I view a library book on multiple devices?
As the title says. I've checked out a library book that displays in Adobe Digital Editions. I can view it on my laptop, but my iPad generates an error saying it's in use by another user. I can't imagine why I shouldn't be able to use a time limited resource on more than one device. Any ideas?

I just authorized my new computer and no books. I need these books for school and they were very expensive. What do I do?
I bought a bunch of college textbooks that were very expensive and I need access to them. I Authorized my computer, and they were supposedly under my account. Unfortunately I cannot access my eBooks and it is as if I never bought them. The weird thing is that it worked before and I was able to get them on both my phone and my old computer, but now I'm at a loss. I was told that I could authorize and view my books on up to nine devices and since I only used two I can't see why there would be an issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

je rencontre une problématique lorsque je tente d'accéder à mon dernier achat de livre numérique sur ma liseuse Digital Book Reader. Effectivement ce dernier semble avoir bien été correctement téléchargé sur Adobe Digital Edition ainsi que sur ma liseuse, mon ID Adobe à été validée et pourtant lorsque je tente de l'ouvrir un message d'erreur s'affiche en me précisant qu'il est protégé par la gestion des droits numériques? Je ne trouve aucune réponse valable sur les aides et forums, quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider à résoudre cette question?

can not open ADE 4.5 on Windows tablet (8.1 pro)
program installs fine. I was able to open it once, however, the "Getting Started" help file would not open. I made a few attempts to close and reopen ADE and within a few minutes the program crashed completely and now won't even open at all. The shortcut icon for ADE still displays but will not open when it is clicked.

errors were encountered in this item file://users
2 books were marked protected but I downloaded as was available. Unable to open and read as get an error pop up "errors were encountered in this item file://users/Anita/documents/My%20Digital%20Editions/Mechanical%20The.epub". The nice thing about errors is there is no information that I know to use to find a correction or root out the problem. I was able to read unprotected book with no problem. I downloaded Jaws but it look too complicated and seemed to have cost. Any help would be appreciated.
